ROFA prepares for the effective mixing of chemicals in the furnace. The ROTAMIX system is developed for optimum reduction of unwanted substances, such as NOx, SOx and heavy metals.

ROTAMIX is a patented technique for rotary mixing of chemicals and or additional fuel.

The same kind of asymmetrical air nozzles used for ROFA are used in the ROTAMIX technique. Reducing chemicals are added using lances, automatically regulated so that chemicals are injected into the furnace where the temperature is most favorable. With ROTAMIX the reducing chemicals are more effectively used, resulting in up to 50% less consumption of chemicals.
